Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

This policy explains what The Ministry of Min-Max collects and how it is used. It covers the website theministryofminmax.com, the YouTube channel @MinistryofMin-Max, and Ministry Comments, the private tool that reads and answers comments on that channel. The Ministry of Min-Max is an independent fan project.

Website

The site has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising, and it sets no cookies of its own. Like most websites, it is delivered by infrastructure providers that receive your IP address and browser details when you visit:

Tribute and reports

Tribute payments are voluntary and are handled on Stripe's hosted payment page. Stripe collects your payment and contact details. We can see the name, email address, payment status and any report text you submit, but we do not receive your full card number.

A report may be published on the public record on this site if it is approved. Do not include anything in a report that you do not want made public.

YouTube comments and Google user data

Ministry Comments uses YouTube API Services. It is used only with the Ministry's own YouTube channel. The channel owner signs in with Google and grants the youtube.force-ssl permission so the tool can post replies as the channel. The sign-in token is stored privately on the owner's computer.

The tool processes public comments left on the channel's videos, including the commenter's display name and comment text. These are used to:

The Ministry does not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of viewers.

Who receives comment data

Comment text and display names are sent to Anthropic, which provides the Claude AI model that helps draft and check replies. Comments flagged for review are also sent to the owner through the owner's own server and a notification service (ntfy.sh). No other party receives this data, unless the law requires it. Replies posted to YouTube are public.

Retention and deletion

Comments are read from YouTube each time the tool runs. Records of posted replies and flagged comments are kept on the owner's computer for up to 90 days and may contain comment text and display names. Comment IDs, which contain no text or names, are kept while the tool runs so that the same comment is not answered twice. Stripe keeps payment records under its own policies.

To ask for your data to be deleted, contact us as described below. You can also delete your own YouTube comments at any time.

Google's policies and revoking access

By using a part of this service that relies on YouTube API Services, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. A Google account holder can revoke an app's access at any time from Google's security settings.

Children

This site and its tribute page are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
